CODA Concert’s mission is to help choir directors and students achieve educational excellence beyond the festival performance. Choir directors and students are the center of our mission and in the midst of circumstances like we face today, it is important for us to take action now to prepare to have us all on stage together again. From the classroom to the festival, we want to make sure that your choir can have the same lifetime educational experience even if it seems everything else is changing.
There is no doubt this year has seen its share of uncertainties. The last few months have transformed our ability to plan our daily lives and to a greater extent, plan ahead for the upcoming school year. That’s why we have made it our priority to keep you and your choir safe, with the following options and protocols in place:
Start Planning Without Penalty. We understand the difficulties involved with trying to plan given such an uncertain future. To help ease your worries, we have updated our refund policy. For all new groups and previous clients rescheduling to join us in 2021, we are now offering FULL REFUNDS for any festivals cancelled due to government authorities or concert hall closures.
Safe, Drivable Locations. CODA Concerts holds choir festivals in acclaimed venues across the country. With five locations from the east to west coast, there is a location near you to provide assurance and safety. Our 2021 locations include: New York City, San Francisco, Kansas City, Williamsburg, and Washington, D.C.
One-Day Festival Options. We understand there are unpredictable changes to travel as well as the importance of avoiding factors such as overnight hotel stays. We offer one-day festival options for choirs to help directors control as many aspects of the festival as possible. Our one-day festival still provides an unmatched, lifetime opportunity to build and inspire singers.
COVID-19 Precautions. As we plan for 2021 festivals, the steps we take now are more important than ever. Here are some of the guidelines we’ve set in place for the upcoming season: the mandatory wearing of singer-friendly masks and gloves at all rehearsals, temperatures taken at entrance to all rehearsals, larger rehearsal spaces with fewer singers and shorter rehearsals, staggered rehearsal and performance entrance with a single, distanced lane, rigorous rehearsal room cleaning, and safe audience distancing. For a full list of CODA Concert’s COVID-19 related precautions and additional information about venues and festival options, please feel free to contact us at info@codaconcerts.com.
We are continuously implementing the necessary measures for you to effectively plan for the 2021 festival season. With our flexible itinerary options, we are able to fully accommodate your needs from budget requirements to the size of your ensemble and more. Our goal is to give choirs a lifetime opportunity that will never be forgotten. We’re here and dedicated to you throughout the entire journey!
